St. Joseph Port Moody Council 9846 welcomes you!

Welcome to the website of Council 9846 in Port Moody. We are in the Jurisdiction of BC and Yukon State Council. We are a small, but active fraternity of the Knights of Columbus, practicing our faith and love for our fellowmen. We serve the local community of St. Joseph’s Parish in Port Moody, British Columbia. We are one of more than 15,000 small Councils, within 75 jurisdictions, consisting of more than 1.9 million members. The Knights of Columbus do charitable works throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Guam, Saipan, Lithuania, Ukraine, and South Korea.

As a world organization, we have contributed over 760,000 hours of volunteer service. An average Council donates 4,865 Hours of Service and approximately $11,568; this thus equates to each member donating $805 and approximately 34.2 hours of Service. Service donations include wheelchairs, clothing, ultra-sound equipment etc.
