December 4, 2016 Caroling at Port Moody Senior Friendship Society
The Singing Knights are at it again. This time we ventured out to the local communities to spread the message of “KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS”.
The chair of the project is none other than our Deputy Grand Knight, brother Ernie Alcala, who also saw the success of last year’s performance of the Singing Knights at St. Joseph’s Christmas concert.
Planning started in October and after many practices we had our debut at the Port Moody Senior Friendship Society.

Thanks to all brothers who joined the Singing Knights. This is a team effort so Credit goes to everyone. Our 1st caroling was a great time for fellowship and camaraderie, not only among brother knights, but with the audience as well, mostly seniors. It was festive and homey with the housing staff putting up a Christmas tree and decorations and serving goodies and drinks before we started singing. Our songs and bible verses proclaimed our message of the coming of our Lord Jesus on Christmas Day. The audience joined in the singing too as they were given copies of the songs. After singing, we all went around greeting, shaking hands and wishing each person there a Merry Christmas. They were so grateful and had happy and smiling faces. We all went home taking with us a very memorable and fulfilling experience. Best of all, we took home the spirit of Christmas back to our families. Great way to start our Christmas celebration.
