An excellent day for a picnic. For the first time we have the Korean community join us in fellowship as we mingled and shared in the food prepared by the various communities.
A big thank you to all who helped in the set up, prepared the food, served, entertained, clean up and take down to make the day a huge success. Kudos to all!!

St. Joseph’s KOC found a lady named Agueda from St. Matthew’s in Surrey who needed a wheelchair. WDGK brother Ernie and GK Dennis Kwan delivered the wheelchair to her last Friday. She was very happy to have her own wheels. Many thanks to our DD who acquired the wheel chair for brother Stefan Lopert. When he did not need the chair, we found another who did.

We had a fabulous night of camaraderie and fraternity as we celebrated a successful year with the ‘Double Star’, ‘Keep Christ in Christmas’ and the ‘Most Improved Council’ awards.
Our Deputy Grand Knight Ernie Alcala received the Knight of the Year award. Congratulations!!

In celebration of Canada‘s 149th birthday on July 1st, 2016, KOC#9846 held a flag raising ceremony at church grounds right after a celebratory mass at St. Joseph Parish Church in Port Moody. The flag raising ceremony was attended by the parishioners of the church and Knights of Columbus.

This is our monthly collection of Cobs bread (4th Tuesday of each month) for distribution to the needy. All brother knights are invited to join us on the 4th Tuesday of each month at St. Joseph’s portable at 8pm to meet and be involved in this fraternal activity. The general meeting follows afterwards.
